You can customize any key command in Wave Editor in the Keyboard Shortcuts panel. This includes all available menu commands, playback commands and waveform navigation shortcuts.
To open Keyboard Shortcuts, choose Wave Editor > Keyboard Shortcuts. Here, you can navigate commands and their key equivalents. Use the search field in the upper right to filter for specific commands.
To change a command, double-click it in the list. A sheet is displayed prompting you to assign a shortcut for that item. Type a Keyboard Shortcut and click the "OK" button. You will be warned if the shortcut is already in use. To remove a shortcut, click "Clear."
You can save your Keyboard Shortcuts as presets. You can save as many sets as you wish and they are fully portable. To save your Keyboard Shortcuts, select "Save..." from the drop-down menu at the upper left of panel and choose a location. To import a Keyboard Shortcuts file, choose "Load..." and locate the file in the Finder.
