pregap offset problem

Hi,

I've been testing Backline 1.0.0b1 with a DDP that was created by my Sonic HD DAW. I'm not quite sure if it's DDP 1 or 2.
Problem is that there's a 2 sec pregap at the beginning of the audio and that affects all PQ marks when playing the file in Backline (they are all 2 sec. early).
Is this normal behavior ? Is there a workaround ?

thanks,

Kees de Visser

I seem to remember we've seen this with some older DDP sets. Ev, do you recall?

I seem to have a related problem. I created a DDP fileset in Wave Editor (V1.4.5) and loaded it into Sonoris DDP Player running on my MacBook Pro laptop running on Windows XP.

When I burn a cd out of that program, the end of the first song is cut off and the remaining track start id's occur about 2 seconds early. Therefore, when you go directly to a track on the cd player, the first 2 seconds are cut off.

The same DDP fileset loads back into Wave Editor correctly and plays back and burns in Backline correctly as well.

One other thing... in Sonoris DDP player- when I go to burn the cd, I get a warning saying that "Track 1 has an ISRC code on an index point other than the first"

It indeed shows the same ISRC number assigned to track 1 index 0 and 1.
It doesn't appear that way in Wave Editor PQ- nor was it inserted that way.

thanks,

Carlos
