Will Spectre get a delay finder function? I looked att setup but has only a manual delay. A delay finder is also nice to have to align subs and delay stacks. Also a dB-meter would be nice to measure dBA. Is this in the to do list? It would also be nice to have the correlation-meter and the phase-meter in the same window. This is good on small screens when you want to se much but have limited screen area.

Delay finnder - it's on the list. What I want to implement is something either WAY more automatic (instead of "physical waveform measuring" or WAY easier to use than other ones I've seen. I have a pretty good idea what I want to do, but I haven't been working on the app much recently (other priorities currently).

In terms of dBA, we're planning on adding a few more filters (other than the simple LP, BP and HP that exist in almost every kind of trace), A-weighting & C-weighting being the 2 main ones. We're also planning on implementing Leq and its variants too.

In terms of the correlation meter and the phase meter in the same window - the idea behind Spectre is that everything is modular, manifesting itself in separate windows. We purposefully added the features such as making the title bar hide-able so that the meters could sit together and look like one meter very easily. The next step is to make them "snap" together, which is quite a trick but something we're planning to do, so that the "same window" effect is easier to accomplish.

I would like to se a calibration for the dBA meter aswell. So you can get real measurements from a microphone. This would be realy nice, Spectrafoo doesn't have this.

Could it be possible to just hav another modul with the phase and correlation in the same window. I should try to put them together without the titlebar and se if it fits on my screen.

If the delay finder shows up I see no meaning in buying spectrafoo for my needs. Spectre will do the job.

It would be great if the delay-finder/ IR measurement automatically could set the found values in the compare spectra/phase/coherance modules.

What is the latest news on the delayfinder function? I want to test this app on the road this summer.
