The ability to burn a 'disk image' iso file. (for emailing to a CD duplicating house)
The ability to burn 'disk at once' also to iso if possible
Set default burning preferences such as preferred dithering method.
Set default plugins. I do most of my recording as M/S but not decoded in the recorder (just as L/R channels) and decode them in WE. I always load an M/S plugin. It would be good to be able to specify it as part of my default template.

You can save as DDP instead of ISO though, and any replication house should accept those.

"Should" and "Will" being two different things - especially in North America, where DDP is still not widely implemented. I second the request for an "Export as ISO Audio CD Image" option.

North America not got DDP widely implemented? That seems odd given there is more DDP software coming from the US (Wave Editor being one such example).
It's the only method I'm aware of in the EU where the manufacturer will accept as theirs all faults in manufacture. All other methods end up with the record label taking the risk of producing a whole batch of drinks coasters!
with best regards,
Karn.

Gate effect and advanced batch processing are essential, high resolution Pitch Envelopes would be nice.

I recently had to process a 1.5 hour 'lecture'. In order to have it in manageable listening chunks, I broke into 10 minute tracks. The only problem with this is that unless you manually check the position of each track you get the 2 second gap where you don't want it. I had to 'save selection as' to create individual tracks and then import them into iTunes to create a 'gap-less' burn.
Can gap-less be added as an option at the burn stage please??

hello - I've found 2 things I thought would be handy - tile document windows, and also an ability for "Flatten Layer to New Document" - i think this would be nice for quickly rendering variations of effected clips. And tiling windows is always nice - greg

Anything new on these possibilities???
Also, anything on the cross fade problem?
