I have to say that this is a wonderful product. You folks have done an incredible job!
One feature that would make Fire more useful to me is some simple editing capabilities. For example, the ability to take a portion of audio between two markers and save it as a new recording or paste it into another recording. I would also like to be able to highlight a portion of a recording and delete it.
Thanks again for a product well done!

We're definitely thinking about these things: we want to follow Apple's lead in the 'making a selection' as well as the new 'cut/copy/paste' gestures. This is new territory for everybody, but we'll be sure to be first in line to implement these once we figure out what they need to be!
Thanks for the kind words - and don't hesitate to throw more questions/requests our way! (and help us out by adding a review in iTunes if you can!)

Great App, but a couple of features needed to make it appropriate for professional broadcasters in the field.
1. Allow multiple ftp sites that are "remembered" in a list you can select, so I can upload to different clients, without having to enter login each time. In pro field work, time is of the essence.
2. We really need a compressed format, rather than just .wav .aif and core audio. I suggest MPEG 4 audio (.m4a) Uploading uncompressed files of any length in the field is not reasonable, even over WIFI. .mp3 would be great for compatibility, but I understand Apple may not allow this. So, the .m4a conversion option before sharing, would work.
3. We need an email option. Like, really. Or, partner with a web app more appropriate for professional (and private) use, like box.net. Sound Cloud makes files public, and I can't figure out a way to adapt it to pro broadcast use. So, give us the option to send files as email attachments, preferable in a compressed format.
Otherwise, the App is beautiful..........

Noted.

Coming in 1.3 which is about to be submitted. 1.3 supports conversion AAC, Podcast, Apple Lossless, FLAC and Ogg Vorbis.

There is the option to mark SoundCloud uploads as private. Beyond that, we're considering a few other options at the moment.
We're also considering email, but we're not sure if it's really a popular use case and it's a bit difficult to support in that different mail servers have different arbitrary rules with regard to file sizes, etc. It seems most of our users are recording rather large files and the feature has not been requested much at all.
